I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, who totally supports me in my decision to open my own business. We have 2 children, our son is 16 and a junior in High School, our daughter is 12 and in 7th grade. I can't forget our other kids, Dante, who we lost on October 17th, 2004 was black lab and golden retriever. He was 6 years old, weighed about 105 lbs. and was our big baby! You can read his story here. Buddy was a stray that we picked up, we think he is some type of Husky and about 6 or 7 years old (though he doesn't act it! He thinks he's a puppy!) He is an outside dog. We've tried getting him to come in the house, but he doesn't like it. Koda is a gold lab/retriever mix and was born Sept. 21st, 2004. For Koda's 2nd birthday we got him a new playmate. Her name is Sandy (named after the character on Grease), she's a golden lab. She was born around March 2006. We're hoping to have puppies within the next 6 months! :-)
Sandy had a litter of 8 puppies on March 17th, 2007. 4 boys and 4 girls. We kept 2~Mystik & Bartimaeus.
Photo's of all below! :-)
UPDATE! New litter born Dec. 15, 2007! 6 girls, 2 boys! I'll be posting photo's soon!

Sandy-Isn't she cute?!?!?!?!

Come Pet Me!

All 8 little piggies!

6 weeks later they're still little piggies!

This is Saydee. Her new daddy is a 14 y/o boy who also has a boy black lab that is about 4 months older than Saydee. I hear she is doing great!

This is Bartimaeus or Barty for short. Our son wanted him so that he had someone to keep him company when he moves out. He is very smart, he knows how to sit, stay, speak and sit pretty.

This is Buddy. I talked with his new Mommy several times before and after she took him home. I'm sure he is a spoiled little boy! I talked to a mutual friend who told me he's not a "little" boy anymore! Hope to see him sometime soon!

This is Cheeka. Her Mommy wasn't looking for a new puppy when they met, but one look in those big, sweet puppy eyes and she was gone! :-)

This is Gracie. She is actually still in the family also. We get regular updates on how she is doing and can go visit her anytime.

This is Mistique. Yes, the spelling is different than the next one, because we have 2 from this litter!
11 months old

Last but not least, this is our Mystik. This picture was taken while he was laying on Grandma's bed (that would be my bed!). He's a very smart boy, smart aleck too! He has traits from both parents, but some of his own also. He is very easy to train like his Dad, but very stubborn like his Mom! :-) He is definitely a wonderful addition to our family.

Here is Mystik and his Daddy being lazy

Mystik and Mommy playing.
We do have one photo missing. That would be Dooley. He was the first to find a home. We do have pictures, just need to get them loaded into the computer. He went with a co-worker of Joe's. He has a big brother (another labby!) and a very loving Daddy. He has been very easy to train, but again very stubborn! :-) I will try to get a photo as soon as possible!
These are the newest additions to our family. They were born Dec. 15th, 2007. We had 6 girls and 2 boys! Sandy has a thing with the number 8 I think! This time we had 2 with no dew claws and 2 with extras! The first 2 puppies have homes already, but the other 6 are up for adoption. I will try to update as they find homes and get names.

This is Angelica, she went to a wonderful family with young children. We see her new Daddy almost everyday so hopefully we'll get lots of updates! She has a cute little speckled nose!

This little guy we call our Yooper, he went to the Soo! They named him Bill. He went to a family with 5 kids, 2 cats, 2 birds and another puppy! I'm sure he will be very happy and get lots of love! He doesn't have any dew claws on his back feet.

This is my little Angelcake. She has an extra dew claw on each of her back feet. She is our most laid back puppy. She loves to play but also loves to cuddle. If I had my way I would keep her, but..... of course we have others that need our attention and I would hate for her to not get as much as she needs, so I'm looking for a very special family who hopefully live close by so I can see her grow up! She was renamed Zoe and went to a family with 4 children. She srayed local so I hope to hear how she is doing and maybe see her once in a while.

This is Joe's little Applebee! She loves to cuddle up to Grandpa and eat apples! She's very playful and loving. She needs to be with a family with children who have lots of energy!.
3/11/08 *still looking for a home!*

This is our 2nd boy. He has an extra dew claw on his back foot. He's very playful and loves to wrestle around with his sisters. He is living with a local family, we hope to get lots of updates and look forward to watching him grow up! He is now a member of the Bart's Fruit market family, His name is Sam! :-)

This is one of our 3 girls that look alike (along with Applebee and Jesse) She is very playful, loves to romp and play with her siblings. She went to a little girl in Houghton Lake who is soon to have a new baby brother or sister.

This is Jesse. She is a little shy. She does get rambunctious with her siblings but can be a little withdrawn with people. She found a home with a loving local family.

Finally, here is our light girl. She has no dew claws on her back feet. She went to a family down state who have 2 little girls. She is living on a lake so she'll have lots of fun swimming and playing with her new family.

I have been decorating cakes since 1995. I have never taken any classes. I started out with the Wilton cake decorating books and a few things shown to me by my Ex-MIL, (She had taken some Wilton courses). I love what I do! I try to make each cake as individual as possible. I'm not big on "copy cat" cakes. I feel that each person is an individual and their cake should say that, it doesn't matter what the occasion. I worked in the bakery at a grocery store for a while, but that wasn't for me. It was too confining, no creative outlet. I have spent many hours practicing each technique. I am still learning! I have greatly improved over the past couple of years and continue to improve with each cake that I do!
